DANCER

look at you
skipping your way into my pages
uninvited
not unwelcome
quickstepping through past milestones
fast-forward unaccepted misstep
tasting muses of old lovers on your lips
a spectrum of fox and hound
these walls were never broken
flown over with wings the hellhound gave a sprained ankle
achilles has no humor
cupid has it all
sweet chocolate and marmalade drizzled in too much too deep
give me nourish clover elixirs
feed me green
put your lips around
the botany of desire
friends are needs answered after all
